“Good all round”
The place has a charming old vibe and the location is brilliant, but it feels a bit pricey for what you actually get; at that rate I’d expect extras like a spa or an included dinner, or a free minibar.

The spot is well‑situated, the building looks solid, the bedroom is decent, and the breakfast food is good; the young bar staff worked hard and the reception team was excellent. However, the coffee at breakfast was weak, the shower pressure was low, and the rooms should have had fridges.

The breakfast never arrived because the staff couldn’t coordinate; we waited an hour and the very young staff were not managed. During dinner our order got mixed up, the vegetables never came but were still added to the bill, and we had to ask to get the charge removed.

The common areas and the room were very pretty, and breakfast was good, but the dinner we had on the first night wasn’t exceptional.

The location, the amenities, and the lovely staff made for a perfect stay.
