Everything was good, nothing to complain about.

The owner’s hospitality and the air‑conditioning in the room were nice, but the room smelled bad. The window on the dispenser‑room couldn’t be opened, the street was noisy, the blanket wasn’t clean, and the bathroom had no place to put shampoo or soap. The room wasn’t insulated, so hallway and outside noise seeped in.

The location is convenient for visiting the main towns of Val d’Orcia, but the place feels a bit dated and not very welcoming. The photos don’t show that it’s inside a service station, so from the room window you can see the petrol pump and smell fuel, which isn’t depicted in the booking pictures.
