“Mucho ruido y pocas nueces”

It’s a pretty spot, yet it has shortcomings that can’t be overlooked in a hotel of the “supposed” category it claims to be. I don’t understand how there isn’t a café, bar, or whatever you want to call it, that’s open.

The room was spacious and quiet, and the hotel gardens were very pleasant, but the room itself was old and deteriorated, with worn blankets, stained carpets that won’t come out, a large but old bathroom, walls showing signs of dampness, and paint peeling.

Great location and nice facilities, with a clean swimming pool, but it’s a long walk from the car park to the reception and it’s not very visible at night; some staff members aren’t very friendly.

The restaurant was top! Not cheap but truly delicious, and the weather was wonderful, so we ate outside on the terrace. Inside there’s a huge TV with football on… a bit less romantic. However, many small things made it not quite perfect: upon arrival at the parking lot there were many stairs with a lot of luggage on our tour, a grumpy receptionist gave a strange welcome, and when we asked for the €30 daily menu it didn’t exist; she told us a la carte was much better, which we believed—especially for their wallet, haha. Breakfast was very good but also very dated, with a choice of Gouda cheese and boiled ham. We found it very sparse for the price, besides some scrambled eggs and fruit.
