“Disappointed stay not a five star”

The only thing we liked was the location, even though it was surrounded by underground tunnels to get to. One tap didn’t work, the TV was broken, breakfast was very basic, and there was no bottled water, tea, or coffee facilities in the room. We booked expecting a great location and lovely decor, but it was advertised as a five‑star and turned out to be no more than a three‑star. We asked for a private transfer from our starting point to the hotel and back; the price was too high and we only got one way, even though we requested a round trip. I had booked a double room with a four‑poster bed, but the room had two single beds. When I questioned the owner, she was not helpful at all. We left a day early.

This hotel feels like an oriental palace from a fairy tale: elegant, antique, and evoking Moroccan culture; you’ll want to return. The rooms are huge, luxurious, and clean; the staff is attentive and responsive; the spa is superb, especially the massages, and we were delighted.
