“Very nice stay, great value for money”
The place was clean and the location was quiet, which I really appreciated.

We drove all the way from Melbourne, using the hotel as a halfway stop to Sydney. When we arrived, a woman who had booked there couldn’t find anyone to check her in; she’d been calling “anyone” for a while. We decided to try the local hotel, and the host was a very nice guy who said he thought the owner was in Sydney and would call her. No answer, so he left a message. We’d already lost half an hour, so we left for Sydney. On the way out, the owner called back and told us our room number and code, but there was no apology or explanation. We returned and checked in, only to discover the ensuite tap was running constantly; we had to put a face washer under it to stop the noise so we could sleep. The bath towels were tiny and felt like cardboard.

The cost was reasonable and it was convenient, but the carpet left a bit of a complaint.

It felt like a cozy home rather than a motel, with friendly staff, comfy beds, and nice views from the room; breaking up our drive from Sydney to Victoria here was great, and the nearby RSL was convenient for dinner.

Bernadette was a friendly host and the property felt like a large home that used to be an aged‑care facility; there’s an open shared lounge and dining area, plus a kitchen you can use, and you can visit Boofhead the residential cockatoo or the friendly horse in the adjoining field; our bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable, though some parts need renovations or repairs, the walls are thin so you can hear neighbors easily, and bedroom windows open onto corridors so curtains can’t be closed.
