We especially enjoyed the breakfast by the pool and the great tours offered by the property. We learned a lot on every tour and the guides seemed as enthusiastic as we were – that was wonderful to see. The rooms were clean and modern.

The Wi‑Fi worked well and the air conditioning kept the room cool. The garden and pool were lovely, and a few iguanas would sometimes rustle on the roof, though that was barely annoying. The location was great, with everything I needed nearby. I chose the Costa Rican breakfast every morning—rice and beans, an omelet, and fruit—which I really enjoy. It was quiet enough for sleeping. The shower’s water pressure was weak, but that only matters if you’re washing your hair, and there was no hot water, yet after a sweaty day cooler water was fine.

The location, the air conditioning, the beds, the friendliness of the staff, and the tourist information provided were all good. The pool was notable and we were able to see incredible forest wildlife. The breakfast was abundant but not very varied. Access is difficult if you have heavy luggage or special mobility needs (though it’s a short distance).

The room was spacious and pretty, and the pool area felt more lively thanks to the many iguanas and toucans around it. However, the numerous windows let a lot of heat in, making it hard to cool down, and the hammock zone was barely usable because there were almost none and they were in bad condition.
