The hotel is fantastic and in a great spot, just a short walk from the historic center of Kalisz. A very friendly lady at reception welcomed me; we chatted about cycling trips, and I still think of her positively. The room, bathroom, and linens were spotless and tidy. Throughout my stay, I ate the best breakfast there—everything fresh, with a wide selection of cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, etc. The lady in the dining area even offered to make an omelette or scrambled eggs at a separate station. I highly recommend this hotel and send warm regards to the reception.

The breakfasts were good, with scrambled eggs made fresh on demand, and the staff were polite and responsive. However, the rooms were already in a poor state, with patched wallpaper, worn rugs, curtains that fell when pulled, and a shower that barely worked. The hotel could be fine, but it clearly needs a renovation.
