The property was outdated, the room was tiny, the owner wasn’t very welcoming, and the toilet had a curtain instead of a door, so all smells and sounds leaked into the sleeping area. The breakfasts sometimes made you feel sick, and it wasn’t pleasant to return around 8‑9 pm to find the place in complete darkness, unlike other B&Bs that had lights and TVs on in the lounge with people and owners chatting with guests.

A really friendly lady runs the place, was brilliant with our little girl and did everything we could ask for; the room was lovely, clean, and cozy, and the breakfast was delicious.
