Resort Sciabache

The Sciabache Resort is a beautiful setting in the green, right in front of the sea. The apartments are spacious, clean and bright. The green areas are wide and well tended. Everyone is helpful and friendly: Director Antonio, reception girls Carmela, Alessia and Fabienne. In the lounge, the maître Tony, vice maître Valentino, Pamela, Roberto and the others are always ready to assist. Chef Giovanni is excellent in the kitchen. The young Samuele, always smiling and kind, prepares the buffet. At the Pool Bar, Concetta greets you with a smile. On the beach, lifeguards Nicola and Antonio are present. Gardener Vincenzo tends the large, splendid garden on his tractor every day. Maintenance man Nicola is always available when needed. The cleaning ladies consistently leave the rooms tidy and organized. The resort has relied for years on the great animation of "Villaggi e Tribù". In the second half of September, when we stayed, the animation had already ended, but the wonderful and friendly singer Marco entertained us daily with a great music selection and sang beautiful songs in the evenings. This is the third time we stay at this magnificent resort and we hope to return next year.

Everything was liked. The grounds are well kept, there was a small issue in the room but it was quickly fixed. Free parking. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. The beach walk was especially pleasant. The beach offers free loungers with umbrellas, attached to each room according to the diagram on the stand and at reception. Everything was very good.

The outdoor area is well equipped. The pool and beach area are excellent. The room maintenance is very poor. As for the housekeeping staff, while guests are resting they have no respect, shout at each other, and move objects in and around the rooms without considering the disturbance.

“Soggiorno tutto sommato accettabile ma migliorabile”

The property is clean and welcoming, very tidy, and right next to the beach with a well‑equipped shore. The staff are helpful and friendly. The décor in the entrance, kitchen, and bathroom is a bit dated and could use an update, and there is no shower at the beach bar.

“Ottimo resort, in bella posizione per raggiungere anche altre spiagge e cale bellissime”

The park with olive trees, palms, and lawns, the proximity to the beautiful beach, the staff’s availability, and the extra‑large bed that’s more comfortable than a standard Italian double – all make this a great resort in a nice spot for reaching other lovely coves (besides the main one, which has loungers and umbrellas). The bathroom is separated from the room by glass, the kitchen is discreet, and we would have liked some typical Calabrian dishes. Breakfast was lacking fruit juices. The restaurant’s minimal décor felt a bit too sparse, and the bar/caraoke entertainment was nice but the song selection could have been more varied, recent, and international, especially since most guests were foreigners.
