The location is ideal for accessing hikes, and the property is quirky and quiet, offering great views when the weather is good. Nicky was a very friendly and helpful host.

The location and convenience were incredible, and the host communicated wonderfully; the shower experience was unique. I was lucky that the weather was good, but I can imagine it would be hard if you were soaking wet and muddy from a day on the fells. Small items like tea towels and a sponge would have helped with washing up, and an air fryer or mini‑oven would have made cooking or heating food easier, but it was still a wonderful stay overall.

The scenery was stunning and the walking routes were easily accessible. The cosy cabin had everything thoughtfully arranged, and the host was friendly and helpful. Waking up to the sound of the Beck rushing past, watching birds flit through the window, and seeing sheep grazing on the mountainside made it absolutely spectacular; we would love to return.
