The building and its surroundings are nice, but the wellness facilities disappoint.

“Im Groß und ganzen waren wir zufrieden.”

We only had a buffet; breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection, excellent coffee, a bright dining room, and beautifully set tables—everything was very clean. The hotel is huge, almost a maze, and on two days the beds weren’t made until we asked; the young maid even asked if she should make them, which felt odd for a four‑star place.

The rooms are well‑designed and aesthetically pleasing, and the included spa and pool are great. The staff are friendly and understand you regardless of language, but the internet is practically nonexistent, even for basic communication, and breakfasts are very bland.

The room was large and beautiful with fantastic views, the spa was fine, and breakfast was great. However, we were supposed to check in at 14:00 but couldn’t until 16:00 because of some cleaners; the staff were rude about it and didn’t apologize. I had to pay for the stay with a card even though Booking had already reserved the money, and I still haven’t been refunded after a week.

We stayed three nights and loved it; the location is superb, with a forest and a climb to “Diana” across the street. The room was very comfortable, the staff were wonderful, and the food was good. We left with great memories of our stay.
