The location and view were great, and the restaurant served good food with friendly service. The room was a decent size and the kitchenette had the basics you need. Everything beyond the basics was a paid extra, which felt a bit extreme given the booking cost. We had to pay €10 per night for a cot that was half broken and I had to fix it. Rooms were cleaned only once every 4 days, and we were left with just one roll of toilet paper and a few small bins, so we had to go to reception to ask for more toilet paper and bin bags—another annoyance for the price. The umbrellas at the pool often fell apart and had to be reattached each day. Overall, the services felt austere for the price.

The location was beautiful in the heart of Tuscany, offering stunning views of Murlo and the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The hotel was fabulous, with beautiful stone buildings thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The pool and garden were excellent, making for a very relaxing stay. I would love to return and highly recommend it. The local village across the valley was stunning, and the little village shop was perfect for picking up lunch items. The restaurant had everything you needed and specialized in Fiorentina steak!

The place was perfectly situated for touring the main towns of Val d’Orcia, but it was a shame the apartment lacked a balcony or a drying rack for wet clothes, and given the price I didn’t appreciate that they didn’t do a daily room tidy‑up.

The lodging is set in a tiny village and is incredibly quiet—no noise, no stress. The apartment’s furnishings were adequate, and everything was clean and well‑kept, though the Wi‑Fi signal was, as usual, an issue and the kitchen was very small.
