We arrived by mistake and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our one‑month trip in Cambodia. The owner went all out for us, the site is spectacular, we went kayaking, my kids fished and we cooked the catch right there, homemade breakfast and a lot of attention to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay at Toek Chha Temple Resort. The host is very friendly, the place is gorgeous and quiet. The meals prepared by the host are delicious and homemade. There was nothing we didn’t like.

I used this place for a bike trip. Every pair of riders gets a cottage‑style room, so the setting is very quiet. The welcome drink was fresh coconut, and the hospitality felt genuinely warm, not just a simple stay. There are no shops close to the accommodation. If you don’t have transport, ask the evening staff and they’ll bring you Cambodian food.

The owner, Seng Chhay, cooked dinner and breakfast himself, and we ate together. The guided talks were very engaging, and we left as friends. The signage was confusing; I ended up at the temple first, which has nothing to do with the hotel.
