“Sanctuary at Pella”
The village of Pella is quiet and picturesque, and the restaurant’s food and wine list were excellent. I’ll definitely bring my family back, and the valet parking was very helpful.

Breakfast was tasty and abundant, served outside whenever the weather allowed.

Everything was perfect: the welcome, the location, the quality of the services, the décor, breakfast, and dinner.

The lake‑front view is unbeatable from both the entrance and the room balcony. The silence, calm, and tranquility inside and around the property were exactly what we wanted (unless your stay overlaps with a large group). The bathroom fixtures are next‑level, with a steam bath—follow the instructions for a truly satisfying shower! The range of bath products is superb; whether it’s the lake water or the products, our skin feels amazing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating—even though the kitchen was closed between lunch and dinner, they kindly served us an aperitivo/dinner earlier. The minibar was restocked daily, and they added an extra bottle of water during the turndown because they noticed we drank a fair amount. Special thanks to Simona, Jessica, Eleanor, and the rest of the team who looked after us from 7‑10 September. The king‑size bed was actually two large single mattresses joined together and wrapped in a big sheet. Because there wasn’t enough cushioning, the middle of the bed feels odd, especially if you’re a side sleeper, and there’s a slight slant in the middle. The trees around the hotel need trimming; they’ve grown tall and partially block the island view for rooms 201‑203 on the second floor. Italian restaurants usually close for a midday break, but it would be nice to have continuous bistro food options throughout the day instead of only at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We also noticed many wines on the list marked N/A, indicating the inventory isn’t well stocked or the menu isn’t updated. In early September, the price point is steep, so these unmet expectations were a bit disappointing.
