I appreciated the accessibility and the fact that everything was within a short distance of my destinations, but it’s too pricey for my second check‑in; compared with my first stay, which was only a few days apart, the room price is roughly 50 % higher, so the second stay feels over‑priced.

The place sits in a very convenient part of Madrid and getting there by public transport is a breeze; I think the value for money is solid. They serve a rich breakfast buffet with plenty of options, so the paid breakfast is definitely a perk. Madrid’s prices are higher than other major Spanish cities, and for the overall experience I felt the price was a little steep.

The location was great, though it’s in a pedestrian area so you need a short walk from the taxi drop or parking garage; it’s very close to wonderful taverns and restaurants, and we enjoyed our visit.

The hotel is in a great spot right next to Plaza Mayor, the main museums are a 10‑ to 15‑minute walk, the breakfast was very extensive with plenty of choices, and the coffee was delicious; there was nothing negative.
