The stay fell short of expectations; the towels were unclean and overall hygiene was lacking. The property sits right beside a busy road, making it quite noisy. Communication about the room was poor, with a last‑minute change that wasn’t clearly explained and caused inconvenience. The experience felt more like a basic hostel than a guest house, and given the price the value for money was low.

The staff were friendly, but the room smelled of mould and all the clothes we left were also odorous. The air conditioning wasn’t working, though they managed to fix it the next day.

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of many great restaurants and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were incredible, arranging tuk‑tuks, hiring surfboards for us, and cooking delicious breakfasts each morning.

The staff were very friendly and always helpful, and overall it was great value for money with the place kept very clean. The location was ideal for anyone wanting to explore the area.

The location was fantastic—just a 5‑minute walk from the main beach and restaurants, yet far enough away to stay out of the main street’s noise. Breakfast was very nice every day. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout, arranging taxis and surf lessons (we did two surf lessons with Ashan, which I would highly recommend). The only downside is that while you’re removed from the main street’s noise, you can still hear cars passing by the front of the hotel at night. Nothing more the hotel can do about that, but I would recommend ear plugs to ensure your sleep isn’t interrupted.
