The room sat on an upper floor and offered a nice view, and the hotel’s spot in the heart of Doolin was convenient. The room was clean enough, though I spotted a long hair on a pillow and another on the table during my first look. The staff were all very friendly. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear the next room’s neighbor wake up and slam the door, the impact sending a shockwave into my bed so I had to move to the small bed. Conversations in the hallway, the neighbor’s movements, and even a bang or boom from the adjacent room were all audible.

It was so cozy, spotless, and I loved the skylights, heated bathroom floors, and large shower. The beds were comfy and the countryside views were amazing. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and we adored our stay! Everything was within walking distance.

The location was great, within walking distance of food and the start of the Cliffs of Moher. The hot breakfast that was made to order was a nice touch. Some of our bathroom towels were dirty.

The staff were lovely, the place was well‑located with easy access to pubs and restaurants, and breakfast was included and great. The room was spacious! The hairdryer was handy, but there was no mirror to blow‑dry your hair, which isn’t a deal‑breaker. Also, if you’re not tall enough to reach the bathroom window, there’s no way to ventilate.
