The breakfast was decent, and the hotel sits close to Norton Bridge, within walking distance of Norton town; it was quiet and peaceful. However, the place differed from the photos, dust was everywhere, only one bathroom had hot water, the walls were damaged, and the bathroom was still under construction.

The accommodation was old and unacceptable, with a lot of mold and dirt, so we had to find another place on the spot. The owner also seemed confused about our arrival.

The stay was comfortable, clean, and the location in Laxapana was great, offering good value and friendly staff. On the downside, the shower hot water didn’t work and we were freezing at night; the partially open walls let in many bugs.
