The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food matched its price; however, the location is on a road with no sidewalk for walking.

The staff were great and offered a late check‑in option, parking was right in front of the door, and there were donkeys in the backyard. The AC in the room didn’t work, and the floor heating was on but couldn’t be adjusted—probably a broken thermostat. I had to sleep with the windows open, and the pasture with donkeys right across the window brought a lot of insects inside. I never figured out the Wi‑Fi password; partly my fault for arriving late and no one was there to give it to me.

The building and rooms look almost new, the bathroom is roomy with a large shower, and parking is available right in front of the hotel. Breakfast can be enjoyed locally without leaving town, with 3 or 4 small cafés in the center. The air‑conditioning failed, which is a major issue during these hot days, and the windows on the first floor cannot stay open because they are directly beneath the noisy highway; there are no curtains, so looking out shows the private house behind the hotel, and closing them makes it hot. Reception was unhelpful even in the morning when we left. There was no hair dryer, no bath mat so the shower leaked and flooded half the bathroom, and only a few shower gel sachets were provided. Furniture was poorly arranged, leaving a very narrow passage between the bed and desk. The restaurant was closed on our arrival day and we were not informed, forcing us to struggle to find a nearby eatery. For breakfast we had to go into town, where only small, under‑equipped cafés were available.
