The spot is very good, with plenty of nearby restaurants (all great!), coffee shops, and mezcal bars, not too close to the busy Zocolo market or cathedral but still within easy walking distance. A bit more info on the nearby eateries—what they serve, exact distance, etc.—would help, and I recommend contacting via WhatsApp before arrival, as many tourist businesses use it.

A sleek apartment, spotless and smack in the middle of town. Walking to restaurants, bars and cafés is a breeze, and the city center is just around the corner. The bed is huge and comfortable. The kitchenette comes with a small fridge, a coffee machine and a microwave. The bathroom has excellent toiletries. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. As usual in Mexico, the noise level is high—there’s almost no soundproofing, so street traffic, loud music and barking dogs are inevitable. We experienced all of that, so bring earplugs.

The place is in a great spot, with a modern look and plenty of space. Security is solid, thanks to a double‑locking iron gate and an inner door that also locks. Dulce, in particular, was quick to respond to every request. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a full‑service hotel with a lobby and on‑site staff when I booked; it’s part of a block of rooms that open directly onto the street. I also didn’t know that room service had to be requested. The rain shower has decent water pressure, but not enough for me.

The location is unbeatable—just a stone’s throw from the Zócalo, yet it feels calm once you shut the door. Everything is immaculate, and the owner is very responsive and helpful. There’s a small sitting area separate from the bed and kitchenette, perfect for reading while escaping the city’s bustle. Coffee, tea and bottled water are supplied. I couldn’t have asked for a better place for a two‑week stay while taking Spanish classes.
