Roaches were present, there was bug poop, and the AC didn’t work.

The hotel was dog‑friendly and the rooms were nice, but the fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night for no reason.

The gravy for the biscuits was homemade with sausage, the lady kept the thighs fresh and made them in small batches so they wouldn’t dry out, and the waffles were delicious; the cook was friendly and quick to serve. The location is convenient right off the highway. However, the place was unsanitary: a bug was in my bathtub, there was no phone in the room, a bad smell lingered, the TV didn’t work, there was dirt in the top and inside of the coffee maker, the toilet overflowed, and there was no bathmat.
