Being close to the Beauval Zoo was a plus, as were the two rooms, the Wi‑Fi, and the nearby parking. The shower wasn’t very practical; it could be better by moving the towel holder to the sink side. The cleanliness was only relative.

The photos on the website are far more flattering than the reality. The cleaning was rushed, leaving crumbs on the table and an unpleasant smell. The pillows were really yellowed. There was a water cut from 8 am to 6 pm, but we weren’t told about it; water returned after 8 pm. The TV remote was broken – you have to “fold” it for it to work!

It’s close to the village center, with several parking spots nearby, the accommodation is quite “large” and has a small fridge. It’s a 5‑minute drive to the Beauval Zoo. The heat in the room (30 °C) was an issue; there were two fans but they were difficult to use. The price was high for the quality, and the overall cleanliness was average, especially the floor.

The proximity to the zoo, the bakery, and the parking were convenient. Even though it wasn’t the host’s fault, there were construction works during our stay that caused a lot of noise, parking problems in front, and a water outage for an entire day.
