The bath was huge and refreshing, but a member with mobility issues had to climb stairs, which was tough; better consideration for disabled guests would have helped.

The staff are all very nice and pleasant. The food is fine. 1. The location is not very good. Taxi is the main form of transport as the whole town has no public transport. 2. We stayed there for 4 days, but room has never been cleaned

It’s a good spot for getting to the Omote‑Ginza Trail, but the buildings look pretty old.

The meals were fine and the place is a great base for hiking Chubakurodake, but the building is old and needs renovation.

Great traditional location close to The Alps. The staff is extremely friendly and we had a good first Ryokan experience. Also the traditional breakfast was outstanding! And we met Hanna, the Akita dog who gave us some hugs before leaving:) The location is quit far away from the train station and buses so we had to move around by Uber/Taxi. —
