“Didn’t even get to stay because of the attitude that we experienced on being judged.”
The property itself looks nice and the location isn’t bad; the room layout is different from the usual. On September 24 2026, my husband and I had a three‑day booking. We had already checked in and tried to request a later checkout, but Andrew at the front desk was rude and unhelpful. He shut us down, saying “there are no cleaners after 4 pm,” so we couldn’t leave around 8 pm. I explained I’d pay extra for a later checkout, and he said “4 pm was the latest.” Frustrated, we decided to leave. When we went downstairs to ask Andrew if we could check out, he told us to make sure the room was empty and didn’t try to resolve anything. After we returned our key cards, we asked for a manager. Andrew claimed he would get one, but it took him three attempts before he fetched the assistant manager, a shorter older lady. She seemed uninterested in helping, and when I asked if there truly were no cleaners past 4 pm, she said the cleaners were for “higher clientele.” She used those exact words. The situation worsened, so we left. Andrew tried to change his story in front of the assistant manager, and neither seemed willing to calm the situation or offer a solution. Later, I received a message from Booking that we had used the shower, which is impossible because we were only in the room for five minutes. I washed my hands and threw a bar of soap into an empty trash can that had no bag. The bed only touched our bag, which I understand is why they mentioned it.
