“Keine Unterkunft in der man Urlaub machen möchte”
The hosts are very friendly and eager to help. The room is spacious and the view is lovely. Breakfast is small but sufficient, and the dining area feels very rustic. It isn’t far from Fuschlsee, Hintersee, and other spots that offer great hiking. I imagine running an old house without a lot of money and effort is tough, and unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case here. From the moment we arrived, we were startled by the house’s obvious rundown condition. The house smells very musty, likely from years of smoking, and it was clear the last renovation was in the early 70s. The carpet in the stairwell and foyer is stained, and the motion sensor on the third stairwell doesn’t work. We were placed on the third floor (no lift), and the lighting is poor. The room feels like the 70s with dark tiles in the bathroom, a dark wooden ceiling, carpet, old furnishings, and a tiny TV. One outlet was not securely mounted, and the decorative cushions are stained. The room wasn’t cleaned on the second day, and the bed wasn’t made. For all that, the € 95.20 price is clearly too high.
