The place is spacious and the location and facilities are excellent. The host was very helpful and answered all my questions, and the cleaning staff did a great job. The views are wonderful and the setting is pristine, and I especially enjoyed the waterfall hike. The only downside was the lack of blankets and the absence of an outdoor braai; these are minor issues but worth knowing beforehand.

The location is perfect for unwinding and the views are great. The network coverage is poor, which is the only drawback.

The house is nice and the view is good. The towels were dry and a bit old, and I didn’t like the single beds.

The accommodation is self‑catering. The geyser only works at night, so we had freezing baths in the middle of winter; even then the water was only lukewarm. I had to boil kettles of water to bathe. When I called the owner, he told me to reset the geyser, which was high up and inaccessible without a ladder—clearly a problem. The bed broke, the kitchen tap broke, and the indoor gas braai has no ventilation; the whole house smokes up during use unless all doors are opened, which isn’t practical in winter. The owner was not sympathetic and merely said he would investigate, as if these issues were fabricated. It’s disheartening to pay this price and be treated so poorly.
