“Чайник в номере,мини холодильник не помешали бы за дополнительную плату.”
Everything was perfect! The only issue was that there was no ashtray on the street outside the hotel and people were tossing their cigarette butts straight into a flower bed that actually had no flowers. I also wished there was a kettle in the room or at least a way to get hot water. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
“Alojamiento sencillo con todo lo necesario.”
Getting there was easy, but the extractor filter was full of lint and excess dust, making it very noisy, which was annoying.
“Im Hotel Ideal war nicht alles ideal”
Location: a bus stop right in front of the hotel with connections to the center. Room: fairly large and quiet despite facing the street. Self‑check‑in: technically everything works. Price: for a last‑minute booking in Lübeck it was quite cheap. The room had technical problems: the bathroom fan was broken (the bathroom has no window), water from the sink drained too slowly when the stopper was open, the window was jammed and might not seal completely when closed, and the TV couldn’t receive all German channels. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, so bringing your own is advisable. Atmosphere: no personal contact with staff on site, except the housekeeping girl, which felt a bit impersonal, but that’s subjective. Breakfast: I knew before booking that the hotel no longer offered breakfast, yet there were still photos of a breakfast buffet in the description for the June 2026 booking period, which was somewhat confusing. CAUTION – FALL RISK (as of 09‑13.06.2026): I’m not sure whether the hotel or the city administration is responsible, but there was a loose drainage channel outside the hotel entrance, posing a tripping and injury hazard (I almost stumbled over it).
“A clean, safe place to stay in.”
Everything matched the website description: the room was clean, the bathroom spotless, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I felt safe and could get around easily, even though the hotel is far from the center, public transport makes it simple to reach everywhere. The only downside was that the walls seemed very thin, so I could hear my friend in the next room talking and sleeping, and I couldn’t locate the Wi‑Fi password.
“Ottima scelta”
I needed a hotel near the University of Lübeck, so I chose Hotel Ideal. It’s convenient for the university and well connected by public transport to the city center. The room was very clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping, and it had the essentials. The self‑check‑in process was simple and quick.
