“L’essenziale”
We stayed two nights. All we needed was a place to sleep and shower, so with no high expectations I can say it met our needs. The room was clean and spacious, with a small terrace that had a table and chairs. To move around easily you need a car, and there’s a large free private parking lot. Breakfast was simple and self‑served, with packaged croissants and coffee from the machine. If you don’t have big expectations, it’s a good spot, great location, and fair price.
Being close to Vibo‑Pizzo station and having a pizzeria in the building were positives. The room seemed poorly maintained and had a strong drain smell.
The staff and owner were kind and generous. The environment was very clean.
The staff were very friendly, and the room had everything you could need. Downstairs there’s a restaurant with a pizzeria that offers good food at very reasonable prices, highly recommended. Even though the windows are closed, you can still hear the traffic. Breakfast consisted of a packaged cake and coffee.
The location was a mixed bag: good because it’s in the center between Vibo Valentia and Pizzo, but bad because it sits between two very busy roads, so the soundproofing is poor and you hear the traffic all the time. The road was noisy, and the people renovating under the B&B made continuous noise all afternoon by moving tables and chairs, dragging them, and arguing loudly. The bed was poorly set up, the sheets were messy and not arranged properly. Breakfast had packaged items amid general disorder.
