“Decent if only to sleep after being gone all day”

The hotel's breakfast was a highlight, with a decent spread, but it took ages to get served - I think they only had one cook and one wait staff on duty. The front desk wasn't exactly welcoming, and it closed pretty early, which was inconvenient. I also had trouble getting in touch with housekeeping or the front desk when I needed help. To top it off, the room had a kitchenette, but it was missing some basic essentials like a microwave and cups.

“I’d stay here again!”

I was really impressed with the waterfront patios and the quiet atmosphere, which made for a great stay. They also served breakfast early, which was a bonus. The air conditioning was super cold, and the water pressure was strong. However, the bed was tiny, and I found some unwanted cockroach guests in the room. To make matters worse, there was no microwave or stove top.

The hotel's location was nice and quiet, which was exactly what I was looking for. That's about it, to be honest - there wasn't much else to rave about.

“Best hotel on Rota”

Let's face it, there aren't many 5-star hotels on Rota, so Hotel Valentino is probably your best bet. It's not exactly luxurious, but it's clean and comfortable, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site is also top-notch. If I ever find myself back on Rota, I'd definitely stay here again.

“It was an excellent stay with nearby restaurants, grocery stores, beaches, laundromat and the church”

The hotel's location was a major plus - it was close to everything we needed, including restaurants, grocery stores, the church, and the beach. However, there was one major downside: people were smoking on the front lawn, which was right outside our room. Not exactly what I wanted to wake up to.
