The hotel’s location, with its private beach just 20 m away, was a highlight, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and available. The island’s quietness and lack of cars added to the charm. The only downside was having to leave early.

We’ve stayed at this resort three times now, and as a family of two adults and a child, we absolutely love it. The location is superb—just one minute to a beach fully equipped with loungers, swings, hammocks, and tables for meals. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. We only took breakfasts at the hotel, which offered both continental and local Maldivian dishes; we found the breakfast ample. For the rest of the day, we ate from the menu or visited other places. The food was delicious, especially the fish and lobsters. We also visited a local shop, bought fruit, and asked the staff to cut it. They cut it beautifully and brought it straight to the beach; we thanked them a bit, since that wasn’t part of their job. Daily housekeeping and towel changes were consistent, and the room stayed free of sand, which was nice. The bedding was changed on request. The child had a separate full-sized bed with a mattress, and everyone had blankets and two pillows. Sleeping was very comfortable. The air‑conditioner blew directly onto the bed, which was uncomfortable, so we used special blockers to limit the airflow—many hotels do this, and we’ve found a way to manage it. Occasionally, we found a few damaged beach tents, but they were gradually replaced, and with daily replacements, it was a minor issue. Huge thanks to the hotel and all the staff—10+.

The whole complex was clean, close to the beach, and the staff were friendly. The only complaint is that the upper floor’s elevator is a bit too steep, but it’s not a problem.

We spent five nights at Ukulhason in this great accommodation. The staff were friendly, the location was perfect, and the family room was spotless. We joined two activities organized by Ostrov, both of which we enjoyed a lot, and they were very attentive to the kids. We recommend it wholeheartedly.
