Walking to Gillette Stadium was a breeze, but the motel felt like a rip-off that took advantage of its location. The beds were just cheap steel frames, and there was a 1.5‑inch gap at the top of the door between our room and a stranger’s. The fire alarm was dangling from the wires, and overall the room was just a crappy, crappy hotel room.

Many reviewers rave about the walk to Gillette Stadium, yet the place is really nasty. The single door knob with a lock forces solo travelers to prop the door with the lone chair in the room, making me wonder whether to sleep there or in my car—definitely not dramatic. The room was filthy, the bed smelled bad, the carpet was disgusting, and the bathroom window was left unlocked. I had read a review about an unlocked bathroom window, so I checked and found mine was indeed unlocked. The floor was uneven. The only redeeming factor is the proximity to Gillette Stadium for concert and football fans.
