An extraordinary location and a welcoming hotel. I arrived at noon on a bike after cycling up the huge hill and they fed me immediately in the awesome balcony restaurant; they looked after my bike. After the lunchtime crowd left it was very peaceful. Please note that you have to drink bottled water, but they sell large cheap bottles so it is not really an issue; the tap water comes from the river in the gorge.

The staff was incredibly helpful; this one person (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The food was so delicious, and of course the view is fantastic. The room is a little older; our bathroom had a shower system that required holding the shower head (no support), which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that nothing to report.

The meal was outstanding—home‑cooked and delicious! The staff were very friendly, kind, welcoming, and attentive. The view was exceptional, absolutely breathtaking. Nothing else to add.
