Victory Towers

I have to admit I was uncertain when booking at first, but the tower rooms turned out to be fantastic and there’s nothing to criticize; we’ll book again at the next stop. The weather was a bit of a downer 😜

The garden is lovely and the place is very accessible. Parking wasn’t sufficient for everyone; there’s a “reserved” spot for staff that isn’t marked, and on that Saturday no cars were parked, so we parked there but were later asked to move outside the yard.

“Interessante Unterkunft”

We were eager to stay in the Tower because it’s a unique lodging, and the complex spreads about 50 rooms across the site, cleverly repurposing an old water tower. Our room felt like a maisonette with a staircase inside, though the kitchen was pretty basic—no stove or hotplate, just a microwave, and the dishware was insufficient for four people, which was fine for a one‑night stay. The beds were large and very comfortable, making the place stand out, especially when you’re actually in the Tower. However, self‑catering was hard since there was no real cooking facility and everything was kept to a minimum for independent meals.

Hot water was available all day, and the air conditioning worked well even in cold weather.

The bedding was brand new and fresh, and the rooms were clean.
