We felt very comfortable at the Kasa d´Vizin. Our room was good, breakfast and dinner were really tasty and plentiful. The restaurant is on the roof and offers a dream‑like view of the breathtaking Paultal. From the house you can explore that valley well and start hikes. Alternatively you can reach other places such as Ribeira Grande or Ponta do Sol by car, taxi or collectivo to start tours there. The team was always very helpful, for example with planning hikes, ordering taxis, and they were great help for other challenges, for which we are very grateful. We found the time there wonderful and will gladly come back!

Hannelore and the whole team are amazing! The food was super tasty and they handled special needs like gluten‑free diets excellently. Plus an incredible view! We felt completely at ease and can recommend the place without hesitation.

“Excellent point de départ de randonnées”

The bedding and especially the pillows are excellent quality. The top‑floor terrace offers a lovely view. The tasting of ponches with grog was delightful.

I fell in love with the place: the location, the silence, the room, the welcome, the food… it was a true heart‑catch on a stunning site. If you want to recover after a hike, escape time, or explore Paul Valley, this spot is for you—highly recommend. The only downside was that the stay was so short, yet the island deserves far more visits. Thanks again to the team.

“Perfekt”

Everything was great! The room had all the amenities you could need (AC, hair dryer, cotton swabs/toothbrushes, coffee machine, kettle, fridge, dehumidifier), comfortable, clean, beautiful view. Staff were very friendly. The food, especially dinner, was very good (only vegetarian dishes 😊). The view from the roof terrace was wonderful!
