I was allowed to check in early, and Mohamed kept an eye on every detail, even taking me to breakfast. The spot is spot on, right on the main street and only a 10‑minute walk to the pyramids. I’d definitely book again.

I had a wonderful stay. The view of all three Giza pyramids from the roof was an absolute dream, magical, to say the least. The room was spotless and clean, and what stood out the most was the staff; everyone was helpful and polite. I would gladly stay here again.

The owner is very friendly and always ready to help. He regularly brings water and sometimes even food. Actually nothing else.

Everything here feels like a dream, even though Google Maps initially sent you to the wrong spot, the locals gladly point you in the right direction; being tucked away in an Egyptian alley is both a plus—letting you play with neighborhood kids and get to know the community—and a downside if you dislike social interaction, as the walk can become tough. No complaints.

Unlike a typical hostel, the staff really went out of their way to support my stay, arranging a one‑way airport transfer for USD 20 after I’d spoken with the owner beforehand, which felt safe compared to haggling with Uber; the airport is about a 50‑minute ride away, and coordinating ahead made the trip smoother. They also put together a two‑day tour covering my interests and recommendations, turning the visit into a packed, enjoyable experience—while you could explore on your own, dealing with taxis, negotiations, waiting and other hassles might make a guided tour worthwhile. The hosts were genuinely caring, kind and trustworthy Egyptians. As for the accommodation, the shared bathroom and shower for two rooms, fridge, kitchen, stove, air‑conditioning, wardrobe and extension cords all worked fine.
