Treasures Hotel and Suites

The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are spacious, and the pool area is lovely. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is excellent, there’s an afternoon tea offered by the hotel, and even a coffee machine in the room. The location is quiet on the edge of the city centre, so you can walk to all the sights.

Everything was great, especially the courtyard breakfast and the rooftop pool, but aside from the somewhat wild location there was nothing else.

“Interesting place that reflects the old town of Malacca.”

The hotel features many intriguing colour schemes and interior designs, and no two rooms are identical – a refreshing break from the usual uniform hotels. It’s clean, spacious, central, and a place I’d want to return to. The breakfast could be more exciting, and the reception staff could be braver – they should learn from the kitchen, dining, and cleaning teams how to smile and look white male customers in the eye.

“Not worth with the money paid for”

The staff are very helpful and willing to assist, especially with car parking, which is not clearly marked after dark. There are too many turns and the site looks awful and eerie, so I didn’t dare go inside until the staff guided us to the parking. 1. The bathroom has a fixed glass window, which I don’t see the need for on a private vacation. 2. The breakfast is so simple that I could get a better meal for the price of breakfast with the rooms, making the cost feel expensive.
