I recently had the chance to unwind at Karoo Secret, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The serene atmosphere and breathtaking sunsets made it the perfect escape from the chaos of everyday life. I thoroughly enjoyed going for a run along the gravel road, immersing myself in nature's tranquility. The host, Margot, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, even providing me with milk for my coffee at no extra cost.

“We will need to visit again”

We chose this location for its ideal birdwatching opportunities, but unfortunately, the heavy rainfall prevented us from exploring the farm roads. Despite this, our stay was still great, and we appreciated the location's potential for outdoor activities.

I've had the pleasure of staying in many beautiful places across South Africa, but this guest farm stands out as a true gem. The house we stayed in was tastefully renovated and incredibly comfortable, offering a sense of homey warmth. The farm's expansive views and numerous activities made it difficult to leave, but the welcoming hosts made our stay truly special. One minor note is that the 4G signal can be patchy, but this is to be expected in the Karoo region.
