“A nice home”

This is a home with the familly living here (this is not a hotel). I had my room with a private basic bathroom. Best for 1 person, its ok for 2 if you don't have big luggages. The lady of the house makes amaizing breakfast and is very helpfull. The location is 5 minutes from old center

The spot is perfect for sightseeing. The host was very welcoming and gave us great lunch and dinner spots, even pointing us to a 16th‑century hammam. The rooms are simple but pleasant. Most of the city uses water pumps, so the hum is loud at night. I wouldn’t hire the driver the host suggested for the train station or airport—his fee is too high; just use Yandex Go.

“A home away from home and a very welcoming family”

The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic spot near Bukhara’s local life and main sights. What really stood out was the family running it. We were greeted with tea and fruit, and snacks came regularly. Only the 11‑year‑old granddaughter spoke English, but we managed with apps and gestures. We asked to pay for food and dine with the family one evening, which became a highlight. We also joined the granddaughter to school one morning and toured the school with some teachers. That morning we had to leave at 4.09 am for a train, and the owners were up to say goodbye and help us get a Yandex ride without trouble. It wasn’t just a holiday; it was a cultural experience in a welcoming home. Nothing negative.
