The place was spotless and brand new, but I wish they’d offer cooked oatmeal and vegan almond milk instead of the oatmeal packets.
“Recomendable”
The hotel is great for the price, clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was very basic.
“Excellent, wish breakfast was @ 6am instead of 7am, missed it.”
Most things were fine, but the bed and pillows were too hard for our liking.
“The hotel was nice, but the room was noisy and not convenient for elderly guests.”
The facility was neat and clean, really liked the breakfast dining, staff was friendly and helpful. 1. There were no double queen accessible rooms, only one king. So care giver/support person would have to sleep in the same bed as the elder/disabled person. Our room had two queens but no handrails in the bathroom or anywhere. 2. Also would have liked some kind of night light to help elder mom find bathroom easily at night. Would have liked an extra blanket in the room. 3. The air conditioner outside our window made noise coming on and off all night. 4. Soundproofing poor. Heard visitors from floor above stomping around late at night
“Very satisfied with our stay at the Cobblestone Hotel”
I’d never heard of a Cobblestone Hotel before, but I booked after seeing photos, reviews, and the location, and I wasn’t disappointed; it was pet friendly and the staff were friendly, though I only met them at check‑in and check‑out. The breakfast was about an 8 out of 10, featuring scrambled eggs (probably powdered), biscuits and gravy, a waffle station, cereal, breads, small cake donuts, and various juices. Our room was clean but carpeted, which traps more dirt than hard flooring; the beds and pillows were comfortable. The price felt a bit high, but it’s high season and options are limited in the area. We stayed on a busy Friday night, and if I return to Ephraim I’ll likely stay here again because overall it was very good. On the downside, all outdoor trash cans were overflowing both evenings and mornings; the breakfast room was a bit small, so we waited a few minutes for a table during the busy weekend. We were on the first floor as requested, yet could hear people above us moving around—at one point it sounded like a bowling ball dropped on the floor. The only chair in the room was a small office or desk chair, leaving little room for anything else.
