“nice place to stay in Alexandria and I would like to revisit”

The place sits right on the seaside and is close to everything; the staff were friendly—Abdo greeted me in the evening when I arrived in the city and helped with check‑in and travel tips. On the second day I chatted with Jessica and another handsome young man; both were easygoing and communicative. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, something I rarely find in hostels around the world. Staying in an ancient building gave me a sense of detachment from the city’s long history.

I had a very good stay at Ithaka Mansheya Hostel. The hostel has a great location, right in the heart of Alexandria, and the sea views from the windows and common areas are a real bonus. The rooms and common areas are clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The biggest advantage is definitely the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and happy to assist with anything I needed. Great value for money. If you want a good base for exploring Alexandria and a place with a friendly atmosphere, I can definitely recommend Ithaka Mansheya Hostel

The view from the room overlooking the lighthouse, the thick comforters, the mattress, the neighborhood, the location, the staff’s kindness, and the breakfast were all great. The only downside was that there are just two bathrooms, but that’s fine and works well.
