The pub is in excellent condition and very comfy, and the accommodation is also excellent. Nothing to complain about.

The staff were superb, the room was clean, and the hotel is very welcoming to cyclists, offering repair and cleaning facilities. The food was good, and there was nothing to dislike. It’s ideal for a long weekend exploring the area or a work stopover, and the Wi‑fi is also good.

The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were cosy with nice touches; the outdoor space looked gorgeous, ideal for a drink and relaxation, and breakfast and coffee were fantastic—definitely a superb stay, and we’ll be back!

The location was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly, but the room wasn’t serviced daily—towels and toilet roll had to be requested, and coffee and tea weren’t restocked, though the staff had no problem when asked.
