“Konaklama iyiydi çalışanlar güler yüzlüydü”
The property’s location is nice, within walking distance to the beach and you can also walk to the pier or the entertainment centre. We asked a staff member for a tea and he quoted 4 Euro for a cup, which is a shame because one kilogram of tea yields 600 cups – so tea is really expensive compared to Turkey, where prices are even higher.
“Geweldig”
Everyone was super friendly.
“Have been to the Blue Sky before but wanted to return to experience. Sea view room . The view was good for the sunset bu”
The location is good. The room lacks storage – no drawers and only a small hanging space. At the pool area the sun beds look worn and a bit grubby, needing an upgrade.
Close to the sea but the beach isn’t that great. It feels a bit dated and could use a refurbishment; we all ended up getting sick.
“Très décevant”
What struck me most was the hotel’s placement right at the entrance of Rhodes, and I also liked the towel service with deposits that let you change them daily without hassle. The pool is beautiful, though it’s very cold. The room initially seemed clean, but a dry candy from a very long time ago was found under the bed, covered in a thick layer of dust, and there were more candies under the dresser. The shower leaked from all sides; water seeped through every seam, and even after turning it off, large drops kept falling for hours. The air‑conditioning was awful; you had to leave it on all day just to feel a hint of coolness. The fridge was so hot (it was in a wooden cube) that it warmed the food on the top shelf. The safe was clearly broken – no keys or anything, and the locks were already pushed outward. Regarding the hotel itself, you pay for half‑board because the hotel only operates that way, but they don’t tell you beforehand that you’ll have to pay for drinks in the evening; a 1 L bottle of water costs 1.50 € per night. Don’t expect a good waffle or anything in the afternoon – there’s nothing offered; you can eat lunch and have a drink, but that’s it.
