Hostel Day 'N' Night

I stayed at this place in 2022 and again in 2026, and it probably stands as the best hostel in Nis—super comfy and spotless.

The capsule setup is the best idea you can come up with, with several showers and sinks and separate dorms for men and women; if you avoid peak hours, the price‑quality combo is among the best for a hostel. The only downside is the confusing walk from the train station.

“A quiet place to spend a day or several days and explore Nis at your own pace”

Ivan and Jalena are outstanding hosts, clearly dedicated to both the hostel and its guests, and they assisted me with everything I needed. The women’s dorm is on the first floor, sharing a bathroom and showers with another room, but it’s clean and fine; there’s also a kitchen just for those two rooms. On the third floor, there are more rooms, spacious common areas, another kitchen, and bathrooms. The spot is great—just a 15‑minute walk to downtown—and the neighborhood is quiet with everything nearby. The only suggestion is to keep the common areas tidier, but otherwise I highly recommend this hostel.

“Agradable”

The beds were comfy and the staff were very kind, and the location is very quiet if you want to rest. The bathroom, while clean, had a slightly odd smell.
