The location near the beach (great sunset views) and close to the coin sand sculpture was lovely, check‑in was easy, and crossing the bridge to restaurants was convenient. The room was a decent size but a bit dated, the bed creaked, and there were exposed live wires just behind the bed with no socket cover, which was slightly unsettling; the dryer for guests didn't work, so it would take 24 hours to dry a few items of clothing. Overall, it was OK and what I expected for the price.

Parking was free and the room rate was very cheap, the room was spacious, and the location allowed me to walk to Ariake Harbor. After checking in, I found no staff in the annex, so I could come and go without feeling awkward. The bath was large but the plumbing was very old, the temperature never rose, and the shower was broken, making it hard to use; although it was a non‑smoking room, the lobby and corridors had a strong tobacco smell that was unpleasant.

The spacious room and beautiful view were great, and I have no complaints.

The value for money was good, but the management was run by foreigners and communication in Japanese was poor; the Chinese restaurant was booked for a group banquet so I couldn’t dine there, and I later learned the large public bath was off‑limits, which conflicted with the information I’d received beforehand.

Being close to the sea and within easy reach of tourist spots was a definite plus. Although the staff count was low, their service was fine and didn’t bother me; the only real issue was that while there were plenty of outlets, a few sockets didn’t actually work and should be fixed.
