Tristan welcomed us with such warmth that it felt like arriving at our parents’ home; his house sits beside a beautiful lake and a sprawling garden where ducks, chickens, and even his horse roam proudly across the lawn. We booked a dinner for €40 per person, which he cooked himself using mostly local produce from regional farmers, and it was excellent—highly recommendable. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean. The only minor inconvenience was that the rooms on the first floor are accessed via a small spiral staircase; it wasn’t an issue for us, but it might be for others.

We really enjoyed our stay at Manoir de La Campagne; dinner and breakfast were very, very tasty. Tristan is the perfect host. The room was great, and even our dog felt very comfortable. We’ll come back.

The reception was perfect. The house is stunning and feels truly at home with Tristan. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner served in the evening after a long day. Breakfast was very good too, with local products. Thanks for everything.

The house is in the middle of the countryside, very quiet and decorated with exquisite taste. Tristan is very friendly and helpful. The dinner was very tasty (worth it). We liked that the table was ready and we could eat whenever we wanted. No complaints.

“A wonderful stay”

This hotel felt like a stay with an old friend, offering a peaceful, quiet, and genuinely soothing vibe. The family that runs it pours heart and soul into everything. The homemade meals were absolutely delicious, so I strongly suggest dining there for both breakfast and dinner. The rooms are roomy, beautifully decorated in a traditional style, and exude a charming countryside feel. A must‑visit if you’re heading to Normandy!
