“Fantastic stay”

When we arrived, Paul greeted us warmly, our room was ready, and a parking permit was arranged. The accommodation was clean, warm, and lovely. Helen, Paul's wife, was delightful serving breakfast. The cooked breakfast was divine and kept us satisfied until mid‑afternoon; both were visible during breakfast, and Paul's sense of humor matched ours perfectly. We stayed before they owned it, but we would definitely return; thank you for making us feel welcome. Because of the clientele, I am a light sleeper and did not hear any slamming doors or inconsiderate guests; the bed was so comfortable that I felt completely relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble—thanks for a fab stay. Nothing at all, everything was fantastic.

Very clean, friendly hosts, and located just a short walk from Whitby town center. Nothing to add.

“Would definitely return”

The place was very clean and the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast was good. The only downside was that our shower wasn’t working, so we had to use the shower in another room.

I stayed at a cozy guest house where the owners were incredibly welcoming and the room was nice. However, the breakfast selection was limited—no water, yogurt, or fruit—and there was an extra £2.5 charge for salmon on a muffin, scrambled egg, and salmon combo. We paid £345 for three nights of bed & breakfast, which works out to £115 per night, so I expected a slightly better breakfast without extra fees. Parking was scarce and required an additional £2 daily pass.
