“very disappointed- worst Staybridge Suite I ever stayed out and will not again”
The one‑bedroom setup and weekend breakfast staff were positives. Unfortunately, the elevator didn’t work, the drink machines at breakfast were broken, half of the washers and dryers were inoperable, the stairwell was painted but the rail was inaccessible for two floors while the elevator was out for a couple of months, the microwave in the kitchen made a horrible noise, the TV remote didn’t work, and the outside door access failed.
“Nice but ALOT of problems”
Most of the staff were amazing, and the room was spacious, clean, and nicely updated. The halls and main areas stayed almost 80° throughout our stay. The elevator was out for most of our visit. The washers were so dirty that the “clean” one stained our clothes, and the dryer didn’t finish drying after two cycles. The front door began to stick and didn’t open fully in the last few days. The conference room, when opened for us, smelled strongly of mildew; we couldn’t enter for over an hour, and even after hours with the windows and door open and fans running, the odor persisted. Extra bedding was handed to us in black garbage bags.
“Our stay was subpar.”
We were told the elevator was out when we got there and they put us on the 3rd floor, promising a fix by Saturday, but it stayed broken all weekend. On Saturday, kids in the parking lot were breaking into cars, so we had to haul everything up and down three flights of stairs to keep it safe. On Sunday, we wanted breakfast before my daughter’s softball game, but at 7:15 am there was nothing, so we left. For $400 it felt subpar and I wouldn’t stay here again.
“Very convenient location, wonderful breakfast, staff who went above and beyond”
The location was convenient and the staff were friendly. The elevator was broken, so we were stuck on the third floor. My husband, 79, worked at the front desk and carried our largest suitcase up three flights of stairs for us.
The area staff were polite and honest, and they explained the elevator situation by moving me to the second floor instead of the third; they also clarified how the booking works, which was helpful. The place was dusty and needed a bit more updating; my daughter said it looked creepy, like we were in a scary movie. The elevator didn’t work, we couldn’t get double beds, and the booking app didn’t inform us of the damage fee until check‑in.
