“Well-located hotel with great staff but disappointing room design and amenities”
The spot and vibe were solid, and I have to shout out Luke the valet for going the extra mile with our car and luggage; the front desk folks were also very helpful. The room itself was tidy and well-furnished, yet the lighting fell short—there was a broken fixture over the desk that an engineer tried to fix but had to order parts for, which was beyond his control. Worse, there were no proper outlets beside the bed, so our phone chargers kept slipping out of the sockets, which felt unsafe. I couldn't get the thermostat to hit a comfortable temperature, and the shower pressure was weak, lacking a safety rail and enough towel hooks.
