The room was in a large house and quiet; the host was helpful and available, and the breakfast was plentiful with compotes, a tea selection, coffee, milk, fruit juice, madeleines, bread, and butter. I liked the flexible arrival and departure times and the warm welcome. I regret the overall condition of the place: no room was truly clean, with dust and spider webs on the ceiling, dead flies on the kitchen table beside the bowl, dust on cups and plates. The shower wasn’t especially clean either; I had to wipe it with a disinfectant wipe before using it as a precaution.
