The front desk let me check in early, which made me really happy, and the room was spotless with a super comfy bed.

“Simple and does the job for 1 night”

It's walking distance to the main street with dozens of restaurants and nightlife options. The room pricing is also good value for money. Our room had a view over the Malaysia/Thailand border crossing. Mini fridge stayed cold. And 2 free bottles of water were appreciated. Although the bed was clean, it's really firm and the pillows are flat which gave me a sore back after 1 night. The bathroom was a bit damp so we didn't want to use the bath/shower - just waited one more day until we returned home. The free parking in the basement is also worth noting. I have a small car and the steep ramp into the basement caused scratching on my bumper and the bottom of the car. They did not design that particularly well. I wish I had known about that before making a decision to book. There's an awkwardly large empty space in the main room where I assume a chair used to be. Seems like a waste of space now
